Protect Your Child’s Smile

Because children are not able to brush their own teeth effectively, they need the help of a parent or caregiver.
You can protect child’s smile with helpful brushing tips. To learn more about brushing for kids, please read the following:

– When considering how much toothpaste needs to be used for small infants,a dab of toothpaste the size of a grain of rice should be used.Try use a pea-sized drop for small children.
– You child’s first trip to the dentist should be within six months of their first tooth and before their first birthday..
– Some healthy foods can help clean a child’s teeth and keep their tooth enamel strong and free of cavities.
– Sharing toothbrushes between people should be avoided. Doing so can pass bacteria from your mouth into another’s mouth, and small children will be at an increased risk for tooth decay and gum disease.
